Iceland stole my heart

I very recently spent a weekend in Iceland and took my DSLR along as I have neglected it recently, but also because I knew Iceland was meant to be a very picturesque place

My goodness though, you don’t realise how beautiful until you are there. It has totally stolen my heart and I want to go back!

I also didn’t get a chance to see the Northern Lights (just another reason to go back) but I did capture some stars

Enjoy my little travel diary below!
I’d love to know what you think

All images taken at the British Wildlife Centre on a training day with Canon UK. As I work for Canon as well as being a photographer.
All taken on the Canon EOS 1DX with either a 300mm F4 lens or a 70-200mm F2.8

Something Different. Again

Today I had a training day with Canon, and once again I was able to play with the 1DX. But this time with wildlife as my subject.
There was a competition on throughout the day and I won it!

Here you can see my winning image, and my prize which is a signed book by Andy Rouse.

I’ll be posting more images from today later.

Uniqlo Shoot

I have recently purchased a new camera! A Canon EOS 5D MK2. And I know I haven’t blogged for a while but it is because I haven’t really used my new camera yet. But today I did a shoot!

I did a shoot for Hannah Townsend who is doing a degree in Fashion Styling. Most of the clothing is from high street brand Uniqlo and Hannah has modelled, as well as done the makeup, and we also got our friend Steve to model also.
I’m happy Hannah chose me to be the photographer for her project, and I just hope her AND Uniqlo like my images.

Here are some examples:
